Alex Barnes is responsible for building and deploying leading-edge AI-driven forecasting solutions, along with curating an exceptional user experience for’s retail and CPG customers.  

He has extensive experience leading large transformational analytical projects built upon advanced analytics. He has advised Fortune 500 companies on forecasting, pricing, and revenue growth management, while leading development of analytical solutions from vision to successful global deployment. 

Alex joined in 2016 as a Managing Consultant, covering North America, EMEA and APAC regions. He later transitioned across several key roles, including leading the Global Delivery Professional Services team, then Go-to-Market lead prior to his current role. 

Before joining, Alex served other companies in various capacities from pricing, ecommerce, allocation, and store operations over a 15-year period, including Old Navy, Family Dollar Stores, and Lowe’s Home Improvement. He later joined SAS Institute as a Senior Systems Engineer, where he collaborated with sales, engineering, and R&D to revitalize the SAS Revenue Optimization solution suite over a three-year span.  

Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
